Young Women in Harmony
Sweet Adelines International hosts its 68th Annual Convention and Competition in Baltimore, Maryland, November 3-8, 2014. As a special feature of the convention, Sweet Adelines International is offering a one-day Young Women in Harmony Festival free of charge to 100 junior high, high school and college-age female performers (age 25 and under). This is an outstanding opportunity for young women to participate in rehearsals that are fun and full of learning as each is introduced to the exciting elements of the modern barbershop art form: singing four-part, a cappella harmony while dancing with fully staged and costumed choreography.
The festival experience culminates in an exciting chorus performance for more than 3,000 audience members on the International Stage at the Baltimore Convention Center on Tuesday evening, November 4, 2014. It’s going to be a fantastic show, which will also be webcast live for viewers all around the world to see. For more information and to register, visit our International YWIH Chorus Festival page.
